"Canvases and Cocktails" Tuesday, Feb. 8, 6 - 8:30 a.m., The Sugar Gallery, Art Alley, Downtown Monroe. An easy and fun class that requires no experience! Each month, artist, Lou Davenport Kavanaugh teaches different lessons that combine famous artists and an easy project that reinforces that artists' style. Fomer classes have been about Clementine Hunter, Wayne Thiebaud and George Rodriguez. This month's class will concentrate on the impressionistic style of Renoir. Students will then complete a heart, to celebrate Valentine's Day, in that style. Tuition is $50 and all supplies are furnished.
