NCLAC Call for Artists

The North Central Louisiana Arts Council is currently accepting submissions from artists for exhibition in 102 A Bistro. This exhibition project is part of NCLAC’s Cultural Economy Initiative.  These shows take place on a quarterly basis. The Cultural Economy Initiative focus is to build our cultural economy in the following ways: turning creativity into sales, marketing our strengths, making culture an industry, and growing a cultural destination. CEI programs invest in the economic future of our community.  We strive to do this by helping provide artists a venue to sell their work while promoting the services of our host companies.

Artists who are interested should submit three images of their work, artist statement, artist bio, and arts resume via email to nclac5@gmail.com (Self Taught, folk artists, and crafts people need not supply an arts resume.)  Please label submissions “Bistro Submissions”.  The deadline is Friday, May 6th at 5:00pm

The North Central Louisiana Arts Council serves the five parishes of Lincoln, Bienville, Claiborne, Jackson, and Union.  Their programs are supported by grants and donations from the Beaird Foundation, KLS Physics Group, Art Innovations, Teresa’s Flooring & Decorating, and other private donors.
