WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!

From art camps to local festivals, there are so many opportunities to become involved with NCLAC. We depend on our community and students to fill these volunteer positions.

If you would like to volunteer with NCLAC, check out the volunteer positions below, and fill out the corresponding volunteer form(s). Thank you!

Peach art exhibit Drop off VOlunteers

We need help accepting Peach Art Exhibit artwork before the exhibit can be assembled. These volunteers will help, take money, label the back of submissions, place identifying stickers, and help the artists through the drop off process.

Drop off will be broken into two days, one from 12:00pm-6:00pm and the other from 9:00am-1:00pm.

Peach Festival kids alley or Juneteenth Festival Kidz Zone VOlunteers

NCLAC hosts a booth in Kids Alley at the Louisiana Peach Festival and in the Kidz Zone at the City of Grambling Juneteenth Heritage Festival every year. Volunteers will be needed between the hours of 8:00 am through 3:00 pm, from set up and helping kids make art to clean up and breakdown. We hope to provide the kids with a free interactive cultural experience and we need your help! Volunteers can sign up for one hour sessions or more if desired. Ideally we need anywhere from 2-3 volunteers per hour shift.

Summer Arts Camp VOlunteers

Summer Arts Camp volunteers serve as counselors that assist the instructors that teach visual art, music, and drama classes to kids ages 1st-6th grades. The young kids love having mentors at camp with them!

Counselors volunteer Monday-Friday of the camp week, times may vary. Students may volunteer for one or more camp sessions. Check out our SAC page for this year’s dates.

We thank these volunteers with a free year of NCLAC Student Membership, and upon request, a Letter of Reference written by our staff for the students to use in college or future job applications. If you would like to download a volunteer form rather than use the link below to register, CLICK HERE.

This really is a great character building and community affirming role, we hope to see you at Summer Art Camps!
