Alison de Lima Greene, Juror
Alison de Lima Greene is curator of Contemporary Art & Special Projects at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Her most recent exhibition credits include Kenneth Noland: The Nature of Color (2004) and Amy Blakemore Photographs: 1988-2008. Among her upcoming exhibitions are major surveys devoted to Jules Olitski and James Turrell.
In 2000, she published the award-winning catalogue Texas: 150 Works from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She has also published Isamu Noguchi: A Sculpture for Sculpture, a catalogue profiling the MFAH’s Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden, and co-authored CORE: Artists and Critics in Residence, a twenty-five-year overview of the MFAH’s maverick Core program. A 2010 Fellow at the Center for Curatorial Leadership, New York, Ms. Greene has also served as a trustee and Vice President of the Association of Art Museum Curators and is currently a trustee of Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts.
Awards
Best in Show is $1,000.00 and total awards are $3,000.00.
Awards will be given at the opening reception on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
