Events at Masur Museum

 A Printmaking Workshop with Marie Bukowski Picasso. Durer. Goya. Hokusai. Have you ever wondered how artists make fine art prints? Do you want to take your art to the next level? Take our new introductory printmaking workshop. You will learn the anatomy of an etching press, and how to make monotypes and collagraphs.

 This class takes place over two days:

Douglas Weathersby’s Artist Talk

Douglas Weathersby will be at the Masur Museum to speak about his work and our current exhibition, 16 Tons: Douglas Weathersby Works in Northeast Louisiana. There will be a brief reception featuring light refreshments and a talk by Weathersby. Please join us in welcoming Douglas back to Louisiana! This event is FREE. Our Drop-In Activities are an opportunity for parents and children to interact creatively while making an art project. This event is special because Douglas Weathersby, the artist featured in 16 Tons: Douglas Weathersby Works in Northeast Lousiana, will lead the afternoon's activities!! This is going to be a lot of fun. This event is FREE.
