 Details: The poster must say “Lake D’Arbonne Country Sportsman’s Expo 2011” and contain images/illustrations of landscape and wildlife, as related to hunting and fishing in the parishes and counties surrounding Lake D’Arbonne.

 Winner will be announced August 1st.

Call for Sculptors: Chapel Hill, NC

Deadline July 18, 2011

The Town of Chapel Hill’s Public & Cultural Arts Office, a Division of the Parks & Recreation Department, invites artists to apply for the 2011-2012 Sculpture Visions Exhibition. Between October 2011 and September 2012 original three-dimensional artwork by selected artists will be displayed in publicly-accessible outdoor spaces belonging to the Town of Chapel Hill and other participating sponsors. Selected artists will receive a $1,500 honorarium for the exhibition of their work.

Call for Artist Books: National Museum of Women in the Arts

Deadline June 30, 2011

The National Museum of Women in the Arts, in Washington, D.C., is currently accepting artist book proposals for its biannual Library Fellows Artist Book Grant. To be eligible, the artist who is responsible for the overall creation, design, and realization of the submitted book must be a woman. The award includes up to $12,000 for the production of a new artist book in an edition of 125, of which the artist keeps 25. The selected artist also receives $1,000 to create 500 copies of a promotional brochure for the book, and an additional $1,000 for the artist to travel to the Library Fellows’ annual meeting to present her book upon completion. Books that are previously published, and versions of books that are previously published or are planned for publication, are ineligible.
