The 20th Annual Krewe of Allegro Mardi Gras Ball & Silent Auction
February 23rd, 2019 | Ruston Civic Center
We at the North Central Louisiana Arts Council, Dixie Center for the Arts, and Ruston Community Theatre invite you to join us for the 20th annual Krewe of Allegro Mardi Gras Ball on February 23! What better way to beat the winter doldrums than dressing your best and hitting the dance floor in a special way that directly supports arts and culture in our region. Tickets go on sale next week in the Dixie Center Box Office, and are $65 per person for “Dinner” tickets with 7pm entry, and $40 per person for “Dancing” tickets with 9pm entry.
This year’s dinner will be catered by the highly regarded Linda Peevy, who will certainly delight us with her culinary specialties. New to the ball this year is the Jukebox Boomers, an exciting band we’re sure you’ll love! They’ll treat guests to songs from every generation, and we’re sure the dancefloor will stay full and fun. Back again this year will be The Selfie Stop by Buie Photography, which offers a great way to commemorate the night. Krewe of Allegro extends a big thank you to The Selfie Stop for their sponsorship with the event. We at NCLAC will again offer our silent auction, which is the perfect place to find treasurers and experiences you shouldn’t go home without. If you’re interested in donating an item or service for the auction, we would love for you to contact the NCLAC office at (318)255-1450 to chat about it.
NCLAC is pleased to share our Duchess and Duke for the ball: Jane and Tucker Watts. Jane and Tucker are staunch supporters of the arts, as well as advocates of living lives with outstretched hands in service to others. We are proud to honor them in this way, and we hope many of our NCLAC members will attend the ball to join us in honoring Jane and Tucker, as well as the other members of the royal court.
Call or swing by the Dixie Center for the Arts to purchase your tickets to the ball! 318-255-1450.
The Silent Auction is a NCLAC event that takes place during the Mardi Gras Ball. The purchases made at this event support NCLAC programming. Private donations of all kinds are sold at the auction and in the past have included art, jewelry, cookware, and sports memorabilia, just to name a few. If you’re interested in donating an item or service for the auction, we would love for you to contact the NCLAC office at (318)255-1450 to chat about it.
