Summer Arts Camps

Each summer NCLAC holds a series of camps for children entering the 2nd through 7th grades in the fall. The camps include music, visual art and drama, which expand students’ capacity to constructively express themselves and boost self-confidence through the creation of art projects and performances.

Tuition includes instruction, supplies, a snack and a camp T-shirt. Camps run Monday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm, with a presentation for parents and friends on Friday. A limited number of campers are offered “scholarships” through our Pick Your Picasso program (see more info below).

Thank you to Entergy for their support of NCLAC’s Summer Arts Camps for children!

2018 Summer Art Camp Dates will be announced in March 2018

NCLAC’s Pick Your Picasso fundraiser provides “scholarships” that send kids in our area to a Summer Art Camp of their choice for free. This gift profoundly impacts the children who receive Pick Your Picasso scholarships, as well as their families. We hope that you will consider giving a local child the gift of creativity, confidence, and self-expression through NCLAC’s Summer Arts Camps. Donors who give before April 1st are listed on the camp T-shirt, and all donors are honored in a “Thank You” article in our Art Talk article in the Ruston Daily Leader. Click here to donate.
